The truth about the Walt Disney World Resort!! !

As we all know, Walt Disney World, is known for all of it's "Pixie dust
and magical experiences with it's guests and it's "Rat", but where do it's employees benefit in all of this?.....We are talking about a company that grosses over 10 billion dollars in pure profit per year.

Walt Disney World used to be one of the top paying companies in Orlando, Florida, but it seems that they are now one of the lowest paying companies, only starting out at $6.35/hr, well surpassed by Sea World{7.45/hr starting}, Aramark{6.75/hr starting},Rainforest Cafe{$8.00/hr starting}, Mc Donald's Resturants{6.50/hr starting},with at least 3/4 of it's hourly employees living at or near poverty level. Does this sound fair that even the hard working Disney employee can't even afford to support their own family on a supposed Disney salary with most of it's employees being forced into more than one full time job other than Disney just to make ends meet?

The New Walt Disney World Terminology!!!

"JOIN OUR FAST PACED COMPANY": We have no time to train you.

    "CASUAL WORK ATMOSPHERE": We don't pay enough to
    expect that you'll dress up; well, a couple of the
    real daring guys wear costumes and earrings.

"MUST BE DEADLINE ORIENTED": You'll be six months
behind schedule on your first day.

"SOME OVERTIME REQUIRED": Some time each night and
some time each weekend.

"DUTIES WILL VARY": Anyone in the office can boss
you around.

"MUST HAVE AN EYE FOR DETAIL": We have no quality
control.

"CAREER MINDED": Female Applicants must be
childless (and remain that way).

"NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE": We've filled the job; our
call for resumes is just a legal formality.

"SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF EXPERIENCE":
You'll need it to replace three people who just left.

"PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS A MUST": You're walking
into a company in perpetual chaos.

    "REQUIRES TEAM LEADERSHIP SKILLS": You'll have the
    responsibilities of a manager, without the pay or
    respect.

    "GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS": Management
    communicates, you listen, figure out what they want
    and try to do it.

Walt Disney said,"I would like to create a place where my employees are well taken care of and happy to be employed by me"

Where dose all the money go to because it sure isn't going into the employees pockets?

Cast Deployment Now on to what the cast members have come to call,"Cast Deployment". The Cast Deployment system is a system that is supposed to equally distribute the breaks that are given to the cast by management throughout the day, but if a manager isn't watching the deployment computer throughout the entire day, you won't get all the breaks that you are entitled to or would normally get if you were on a rotational system.
